Ambitions for the blog - stay queer as fuck!

Ambitions for the blog - stay queer as fuck!

January 25, 2017

As with all of our other projects, it is likely that it will take some time before this blog is up and running smoothly (we’re still pretty clueless when it comes to twitter), but we do have pretty clear (and knowing us, perhaps a bit too high) ambitions for what we would love to see the blog do.

It will hopefully be a place for us to share with you exciting collaborations, new plans and upcoming events, as well as a place to tell you more about the people we’ve worked with already, events we have been a part of, and cool London under-(and over)-ground-projects. It will also be a good place for us to show you photos from our photoshoots and other shoots Cockheart is featured in.

But (and this is where the high ambitions come in) our dream is to also be able to use this blog as a medium for more educational content, raising awareness about issues we care about.

Although the more mainstream issues affect us directly (we all represent the queer community), there are a number of other issues that we deeply care about, but for which our voice isn't the important one - which is why we hope to team up with strong voices for guest blogging & podcasts.

If you feel that you have something to contribute we would be happy to have a chat with you. There’s no doubt that there are a lot of members in extended Cockheart family who can teach us thing or two about queer issues.

Please note that the blog will be a safe space, and so, naturally, any attempt to devalue or ridicule someones lived experience will not be accepted; No place to punch (unless you punch upwards).
